We’re thrilled to announce our new strategic cooperation with WeChat! US-China Strong and WeChat, an instant messaging app with more than 889 million monthly users, last week launched the partnership at our “Bridging the Cultural Gap” conference at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.
We also debuted our WeChat Official Account (OA), which contains games, learning tools, scholarship resources and more to help Americans learn more about China and the Mandarin language, encourage greater interaction between Americans and Chinese and strengthen the bilateral relationship.
You can join our WeChat OA now by following these quick steps:
1. Download the WeChat app on your phone
2. Sign up and search for the US-China Strong account
3. Scan the QR code below
Speakers at the conference included our Acting CEO Eugene Huang, WeChat’s Head of Marketing Juliet Zhu, Asian Art Museum CEO Jay Xu and leaders in the business, academic, and nonprofit communities. We’re also deeply appreciative of our board members – Florence Fang and George Lee – who spoke at the event, supported our launch and led panel discussions on topics ranging from entrepreneurship and innovation to education and entertainment.

We’re so excited to join forces with WeChat and are so grateful for their support. Thanks to all who attended our conference – or followed along online with #WeChatxUSCS – and we look forward to seeing you on our WeChat OA!
Thanks, as always, for your support.
