Bob is a Research Assistant at the US-China Strong Foundation. He recently received his B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Spanish and Economics, focusing on US-China-Latin America relations. He studied abroad in Argentina and wrote his thesis on the economic factors that shape China’s soft power in Latin America. He led the Claremont Colleges Chapter of Project Pengyou and served as a Chinese Language Partner on campus. Originally from Guangdong, China, Bob came to the U.S. seven years ago and has since developed an appreciation and passion for cross-cultural communication. At US-China Strong, he hopes to deepen his understanding of Sino-American relations and contribute to the mission of bridge-building.
